New T. Rex Dinosuits Inspired by Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs

Since launching last July, we’ve been incredibly excited to see Dinosuits featured alongside the immersive exhibition Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs at Lightroom London.

Inspired by the world of dinosaurs brought to life in the exhibition, we’ve developed a brand-new line of Dinosuits designed especially for younger children aged 3–6 years old. This new range sits alongside our existing collection for ages 7+, making Dinosuits accessible to even more young dinosaur fans.

A Bold New T. Rex Design

At the heart of this new range is the iconic T. rex. We wanted to create a design that felt vibrant, exciting, and closer to how children imagine dinosaurs today. The result is a striking new green and blue scaly skin texture, adding depth, realism, and a playful visual identity that stands out both in-store and at home.

These dinosaur construction kits for kids continue to combine creativity and hands-on play, allowing children to build their own wearable dinosaur and bring it to life through movement and imagination.

A Toy That Transforms

One of the most exciting features of this new Dinosuit is its dual purpose. As well as being a build-your-own dinosaur toy, it also includes a cleverly integrated hanging element. Once assembled, the Dinosuit can be transformed into a decorative mobile, perfect for hanging in a child’s bedroom.

This means the experience doesn’t stop when playtime ends—the dinosaur becomes part of the room, sparking imagination every day.

Inspired by an Immersive Dinosaur Experience

Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs invites visitors to step into a dinosaur’s world like never before, combining scenes from Prehistoric Planet with stunning 360° visuals and immersive storytelling.

From vast deserts to deep oceans, the exhibition captures the scale and wonder of prehistoric life—something we wanted to reflect in this new generation of Dinosuits.

Continuing the Dinosuits Journey

It’s been amazing to see the response since launch, with Dinosuits now available to families visiting the exhibition space as well as online.
