Supporting Design Education in UK Schools with the Design and Technology Association
We’re proud to be continuing our commitment to design education in UK schools through an exciting collaboration with the Design and Technology Association. Together, we are helping to develop innovative learning resources as part of a groundbreaking initiative aligned with the British Curriculum.
This partnership reflects our belief in the importance of hands-on, creative learning—especially in a world where problem-solving, design thinking, and innovation are more valuable than ever. By supporting the development of new classroom resources, we aim to empower both teachers and students with tools that bring real-world design challenges into everyday learning.
A key focus of this initiative is Key Stage 3 (KS3) design and technology education, where students begin to build the foundational skills they will carry into later studies and future careers. Through engaging, practical projects, students are encouraged to think critically, experiment with ideas, and develop solutions to real-world problems—mirroring the methodologies used in professional design and industry settings.
This early exposure plays a vital role in preparing students for non-examined assessments at Key Stage 4 (KS4) and beyond. By introducing structured design processes, iterative thinking, and creative exploration at KS3, we help lay the groundwork for confidence and success in more advanced stages of education.
At Dinosuits, creativity and imagination sit at the heart of everything we do. Supporting STEM and design technology education is a natural extension of our mission to inspire the next generation of thinkers, makers, and innovators.
We’re incredibly excited about the potential of this collaboration and the positive impact it can have in classrooms across the UK. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop resources and support design education nationwide.
